Introducing a new group with Digital Deets: influencers. As you start taking advantage of
our fundraising software, you need to share promotions far and wide. By selecting influencers, the promotions reach more eyes and increase the success of the promotion. This in turn increases the likelihood that organizations will want to promote to you again in the future!
Influencers are organization members who are active on social media and want to help spread the promotion and therefore help your organization raise more money. As an influencer, they are notified automatically by email when an organization creates a promotion and they can subsequently re-share the promotion to their own profiles. This can be a subrole for someone who is already listed as a member in your Digital Deets account. Sub Admin also receive these email notifications about promotions, so that they remain informed of promotion activity, can re-share the promotion, or flag it.
Creating an Influencer
Once you have some ideas about who might be a good and willing influencer for your organization, here's how to invite them and get started:
1. Log into your Digital Deets account.
2. Go to Manage > Influencers.
3. Click invite in the bottom right corner.
4. Add in their information. They must have an email address. First and last name is optional. Click "Send Invitation."
5. They will receive an invitation in their email. It looks like this:
6. Once they click "Yes. I'm happy to help," they will start receiving email notifications for promotions. They can re-share them through various social medias, including Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp. They can also share them via email or directly copy the link to the promotion to share anywhere (the orange link button). The email notification looks like this, with the sharing features at the bottom:
You can always view and manage your influencers by going to Manage > Influencers. Here, you will see a table of all your influencers and you can delete them here, if needed.
