Launching the Digital Directory

Now that you've purchased the Digital Deets Digital Directory for your organization, it's time to let everyone know! 

The Directory will be released first to your Account Authority on the Monday closest to your purchase date. It will automatically include the email addresses of all the members in your organization, so it's important to let everyone know about the Directory so everyone can make an informed decision about whether or not they wish to be included. Even members with incomplete accounts (meaning those that haven't created accounts and simply receive posts via email notifications) will be included. So by sending several posts to your community announcing the Directory, everyone is aware and can reach out if they don't want to be included.

Your organization members will have until Friday at noon to reach out to you about being removed from the Directory. Your Account Authority will have until Friday at noon to review the Directory and remove anyone who has requested to not be included. After this time, members can manually remove themselves or reach out about being removed.

Your Account Authority will find template posts you can share with your community to let them know briefly what the Directory is and what they need to do. We recommend sending the first one out on Monday with a general introduction, the second on Wednesday with a reminder, and the third on Friday with the official launch to your entire community.

Below are the templates' content. The Account Authority will be able to view these in our web app by going to Communication > Templates to in the main menu. They can click on the copy icon to turn the template into a post and can make edits/fill in organization specific information/make changes before sending out the post.

FIRST POST

Post Title: [Organization Name] Digital Directory is coming!

The School Directory is going digital this year! You will have access to our Directory within the Digital Deets app. Parents and staff, here's everything you need to know:
  1. The Directory will be found in the More menu in the Digital Deets mobile app or at the School Directory Icon in the web app
  2. The Directory will automatically include your email address. 
  3. You can add your phone number, if you want. Review your account settings in Digital Deets to add your phone number.
  4. If you do not have a complete account in Digital Deets, you will need to make one in order to access the Directory. You can complete your account by saving your password in Digital Deets and then in the account settings, add your phone number to your account information.
  5. You may remove or change your information from the Directory at any time by changing your preferences in your account settings.
  6. The Directory will go live this Friday at 12pm.
  7. If you do not want to be included in the Directory, please send an email to [AA email address] before Friday at noon. Be sure to list the email address you would like removed from the directory and we will handle it for you.

Post title: Reminder: Digital Directory Going Live this Friday

This is a reminder that our Digital Directory is launching this Friday in Digital Deets! You will have access to our Directory within the Digital Deets app under "Organization Directory" in your menu bar. Here are the details again:
  1. The Directory will automatically include your email address. 
  2. You can add your phone number, if you want. Review your account settings in Digital Deets to add your phone number.

Our Digital Directory is now live! You can view it in the Digital Deets Mobile App, under the More menu, or in your Digital Deets account on the web under Organization Directory in the Main Menu bar.
