Platform Set Up/ Management: Data import - 2 ways

Get your student/parent organization set up for communication.

If you have NOT set up your organization for communication yet, read on!
We now support the organization's data set-up process in 2 ways.  You choose the best one for your organization.

Option 1 (BEST): Use our Digital Deets Auto-Connection Data feature. 

  • Quickly set up your organization's student and parent data.
  • Ensure you are reaching all parents.
  1. Review our Auto Connection Sample CSV file.  This file includes student and parent data on the same file.
  2. Set up your data in your csv file to reflect the sample Auto Connection file format.
  3. Drop your new csv file in Digital Deets.  
    1. Go to Manage Auto-Connection Data
  4. Leave the rest to us!  We will auto-connect your data in 2 business days or less and notify you when the set-up is complete.

Option 2 (Better):  Import your Student Data and Member data separately.

  • Track student connections in the system.
  • Add Members to groups by email address only.
  • Connects Members to the All-Member Group - only
  1. Import your student data using our csv file example.  (If you used Digital Deets in the past, this is how you have imported data in years past.) See Help Desk article


  2. Import your Member Email Addresses.  See Help Desk Article


  3. Be sure to tell members to connect to their children when they complete their accounts. Use our incomplete members template to encourage community members to complete their accounts.
