Templates

If you have common posts that you send out regularly, we've made it easier to quickly recreate them without starting from scratch. You can now create and store templates in your Digital Deets account, so that you can go back and use the same format over and over. Digital Deets can also provide you certain templates, so that you can easily share information with your community, such as launch and sign up information.

To access Templates:

1. Log into your Digital Deets account.
2. Go to Communication > Templates.



3. Create your template! This looks just like creating a post. Give it a title and add your content. Add images, if you want. (You'll be able to add any PDFs when you use the template to create a post).



4. Once you've added everything you want, hit Save.

5. This will save the template in your Templates folder and you will see it listed. It has not been sent to anyone at this point.



6. You can then always:

- Click the pencil icon to edit the template.
- Click the "Create post" button to turn the template into a post. This will carry all the information over into a Post, where you can make any edits or updates before you send it out.
- Click the trash icon to delete the template.

This is a great tool if you tend to send out similar messages, like bimonthly newsletters or Principal posts. You can save the general format in a template and make your small edits and updates each time, instead of starting from scratch!
